During a serendipitous encounter with a local furniture maker, I had the chance to gather some acacia wood offcuts originating from Singapore fallen / retired trees. I was keen on giving them a second life and worked the wood into bioresin to create large wafer slabs. Mostly oversized, they were strung onto au naturel vegetable tanned leather cord and made into wearable art pieces.
For a more light-hearted option, I made a series of smaller-sized pendant necklaces suited for everyday wear.
