The Pitcher Plant is a symbol for entrapment, trickery and deception.
Yet, the qualities possessed by a plant are in no way different from that of mankind.
The relationship between predator and prey, the astute way in which the upperhand tries to take control, very much parallels society and how states are being run.
This collection explores the aesthetics of the plant, recreating symbolic patterns that mirror the qualities of deceit and artifice.
Harm inflicted/
8 mosquitoe bites, uncanny stares from an odd black cat at 12.10 a.m.
