This is a custom brooch made with an ammonite fossil provided by the client. The brief was to create an oversized statement brooch mimicking how the fossil would be discovered from the earth – usually half embedded in a rock.

I embedded half the ammonite fossil in bioresin and used gemtone colours for a modern touch, and gold foil to accentuate the beauty of the rock.
