Memories that stay lurking in our deepest thoughts, memories that come back to haunt us repeatedly, bittersweet memories, our earliest memories, memories that we try so hard to let go but can never seem to erase, memories that make us who we are. 

Pleated Memory explores the theme of the memory and the subconscious mind through the symbolic use of pleats that leave an indelible crease or mark. A large part of the collection was inspired by nature (plants like Licuala grandis ruffled fan palm/ Palas Palm and Latan palm), presenting yet another dimension of how the human mind mimics nature and its environment.
